La notion de chez-soi convoque \u00e9galement l\u2019importance de l\u2019intimit\u00e9 et de la protection de l\u2019individu, l\u2019importance des objets symboliques et culturels, celle des souvenirs, des d\u00e9cors, des am\u00e9nagements int\u00e9rieurs, des espaces (ouverts ou ferm\u00e9s) qui eux, participent de la mise en sc\u00e8ne de soi, un territoire personnel participe \u00e0 la construction du \u00ab\u2009je\u2009\u00bb, mais aussi \u00e0 l\u2019affirmation du \u00ab\u2009nous\u2009\u00bb.<\/div><div>Enfin, la dimension culturelle du chez-soi rev\u00eat une importance fondamentale quand son chez-soi est chez les autres. La n\u00e9cessit\u00e9 de se construire un nouveau chez-soi \u00e0 cause d\u2019un d\u00e9part voulu ou forc\u00e9 ajoute une complexit\u00e9 qu\u2019il faut aussi appr\u00e9hender.<\/div><div>Et que devient le chez-soi quand il vous a \u00e9t\u00e9 retir\u00e9 ou spoli\u00e9\u2009?<\/div><div>Ces remarques seraient incompl\u00e8tes si elles n\u2019int\u00e9graient pas la dimension postcoloniale. La France ou le Canada (et d\u2019autres pays comme les \u00c9tats-Unis, l\u2019Australie ou le Br\u00e9sil) , sont des pays n\u00e9s de la colonisation et dont les territoires autochtones ont \u00e9t\u00e9 spoli\u00e9s. Pour le Canada, en 2015,\u00a0 la Commission de v\u00e9rit\u00e9 et de r\u00e9conciliation (CVR) soulignait sp\u00e9cifiquement la n\u00e9cessit\u00e9 de pr\u00e9senter aux immigrants au Canada \u00ab\u2009une histoire plus inclusive des divers peuples autochtones du Canada, y compris des informations sur les trait\u00e9s et l\u2019histoire des pensionnats\u2009\u00bb, et de reconnaitre l\u2019importance du r\u00f4le des peuples autochtones (Premi\u00e8res Nations, Inuits et M\u00e9tis) dans la prise de d\u00e9cision concernant les questions qui pourrait les affecter. On constate d\u2019une part que les itin\u00e9rants sans-abri sont surrepr\u00e9sent\u00e9s parmi les autochtones au Canada et d\u2019autre part que la spoliation des terres pendant la colonisation \u00e9tait bien plus qu\u2019un vol. Les Peuples autochtones entretiennent en effet une relation privil\u00e9gi\u00e9e avec leurs terres ancestrales et en font un \u00e9l\u00e9ment central dans le v\u00e9cu de leur identit\u00e9. En se basant sur une perception holistique de l\u2019environnement, les Peuples autochtones consid\u00e8rent l\u2019esprit et la mati\u00e8re comme \u00e9tant sur un m\u00eame pied d\u2019\u00e9galit\u00e9, se percevant comme partie du territoire . Le territoire est un chez-soi et , comme nous pr\u00e9vient la po\u00e8te Natasha Kanap\u00e9-Fontaine : N\u2019entre pas dans mon \u00e2me avec tes chaussures . Le paradoxe vient du fait que la question autochtone au Canada est souvent trait\u00e9e comme celle des migrants or les autochtones. \u00ab\u2009Nous ne sommes pas des immigrants et nous ne voulons pas faire partie de la cat\u00e9gorie des nouveaux arrivants, comme si nous n\u2019\u00e9tions pas l\u00e0 auparavant\u2009\u00bb, affirme par exemple M\u00e9lanie Boivin, directrice g\u00e9n\u00e9rale du Centre d\u2019amiti\u00e9 autochtone du Lac-Saint-Jean .<\/div><div>Parler de territoire pour les autochtones, \u00ab\u2009c\u2019est parler d\u2019un processus d\u2019identification vis-\u00e0-vis d\u2019une terre, vis-\u00e0-vis d\u2019un mythe fondateur, mais \u00e9galement vis-\u00e0-vis de \u201cr\u00e9seaux de lieux sacr\u00e9s\u201d.<\/div><div>Une interrelation magique entre l\u2019homme et son territoire s\u2019est donc tiss\u00e9e progressivement au fil des \u00e2ges : le territoire fa\u00e7onne autant l\u2019homme que l\u2019homme le dessine. L\u2019homme mod\u00e8le le territoire aussi bien d\u2019un point de vue symbolique que concret\u2009 \u00bb. Dans ce contexte postcolonial, les divers mouvements ind\u00e9pendantistes revendiquent une r\u00e9cup\u00e9ration d\u2019un chez-soi chez nous.<\/div>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-6e7cdf0 elementor-widget-divider--view-line elementor-widget elementor-widget-divider\" data-id=\"6e7cdf0\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"divider.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-divider\">\n\t\t\t<span class=\"elementor-divider-separator\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/span>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-2c18de50 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"2c18de50\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><em>The notion of HOME brings together several realities that today\u2019s current events make more complex.<\/em><\/p><p><em>We could define the notion of home as having a public dimension, a living space that contributes to relationships with others (family, neighborhood, communities, society, country). The notion of home is also linked to the idea of privacy and individual protection. It relates to symbolic and cultural objects, memories, decor, interior design, and spaces (open or closed) that present personal territory contributes to the construction of the \u00ab\u00a0I,\u00a0\u00bb as well as the affirmation of the \u00ab\u00a0we.\u00a0\u00bb<\/em><\/p><p><em>That\u2019s why the cultural dimension of home takes on fundamental importance when one\u2019s home is with others. And what happens to your home when it has been taken away or robbed?<\/em><\/p><p><em>These remarks would be incomplete without incorporating the postcolonial dimension. France and Canada (and other countries such as the United States, Australia, or Brazil) are countries born of colonisation and whose indigenous territories were dispossessed. For Canada, in 2015, the\u00a0Truth and Reconciliation Commission\u00a0(TRC) specifically emphasised the need to present immigrants to Canada with \u201ca more inclusive history of the diverse Indigenous peoples of Canada, including information on treaties and the history of residential schools,\u201d and to recognise the important role of Indigenous peoples (First Nations, Inuit, and M\u00e9tis) in decision-making on issues that could affect them. On the one hand, we note that homeless people are overrepresented among Indigenous peoples in Canada, and on the other hand, land dispossession during colonisation was much more than theft. Indigenous peoples maintain a special relationship with their ancestral lands and make them a central element in the experience of their identity. Based on a holistic perception of the environment, Indigenous peoples consider spirit and matter to be on an equal footing, perceiving themselves as part of the territory. The territory is a home and, as the poet Natasha Kanap\u00e9-Fontaine warns us: \u201cDon\u2019t enter my soul with your shoes on\u201d. Il s&rsquo;agit de faire \u00e9merger les imaginaires du \u00ab chez soi en migration \u00bb (\u00e9motionnel, m\u00e9moris\u00e9, r\u00eav\u00e9) exprim\u00e9 par des migrants qui \u00ab\u00a0restent\u00a0\u00bb en Afrique.
